Come and cool off in the fresh water of the lake! Sheltered from the winds, shallow and supervised all summer, this small cove is perfectly suited to families with children, couples and groups of friends.

While many visitors like to apply the rule of “lazing around” to the letter, others might like to take advantage of the nautical base to learn to sail or practice their favourite sports. On the program: stand-up paddle board, canoeing, windsurfing, pedaloes, catamarans, dinghies… something for everyone, in other words!

Cycling enthusiasts enjoying the Côte Landes Nature destination will find Vielle beach a refreshing stopover on the cycle path that links Linxe to Vielle-Saint-Girons and the beaches of Lette Blanche and Cap de l’Homy.

Partly classified as a nature reserve and a Natura 2000 site, Lake Léon is highly popular with nature lovers. The lake is home to a huge diversity of wildlife. In spring and autumn, bird watching and photography enthusiasts come to admire the migratory birds that make a stopover on the lake.
