Without the generosity of the people of León, this church would never have been built. ‘The subscription launched in 1901 exceeded all expectations’. In 2005, Abbé Pierre Sentucq commissioned the restoration of the electricity, the sound system and the interior paintings, all of which were carried out by the French Historic Monuments Authority, to mark the church's 100th anniversary in January 2006.
Comprising a large central nave and two side aisles, this church dedicated to Saint André is remarkable for its luminosity, which is conducive to meditation and the expression of a beauty that is appreciated by all visitors.
